Managing Director Kaleem Hussain brings a diverse range of industry and sector experience to offer strategic thinking, analysis and a practical approach to Financial Services, Public Sector and International Relations issues.
Public Sector - Kaleem has worked on a wide range of organisational change, efficiency and transformation projects at a Central Government and Local Government level. Kaleem is Prince 2 accredited and familiar with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. He has completed a PDLGM in Local Government Management at Warwick Business School. He brings a unique cultural awareness, a passion for business improvement, experience of multiple central and local government departments, a collaborative approach, and an absolute focus on exceeding client expectations.
Financial Services - Kaleem has extensive sales, financial planning, marketing, risk, investment, compliance, analytics, and customer service experience having worked for the major retail and investment banks located in the UK and around the world. Since establishing Guidance Consultancy, he has been providing consultancy services to the major retail banks on a range of Business Review, Financial Planning, Compliance and Digital Transformation projects. He holds a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4 DipFA) and adopts a collaborative approach to meet and exceed client expectations.
International Relations - Kaleem is an Associate Member of The Royal Institute of International Affairs, a fellowship member at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), a Global Diplomat Forum (GDF) Alumni member and a RANE Network Affiliate Expert. He has travelled extensively to different regions in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and brings forward a cultural awareness, understanding and a pragmatic approach to global diplomacy, risk analysis and insight. Kaleem places particular importance on the role of culture, heritage, sports, tradition and the arts as platforms to build bridges and understanding across different regions around the world.
He holds an LLB (Hons) Law degree and an LLM in International Economic Law from Warwick University. He is a member of the Warwick Midlands Professional Network Committee linked to Warwick Business School in the UK, a Fellow at the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacture and Commerce (FRSA), business mentor for the Warwick University Alumni programme, formerly a Mentor as part of One Million Mentors Programme and for Mosaic-founded by HRH Prince of Wales to inspire young people from deprived communities to realise their talents and potential.
